Language Buds: Parent & Me

A welcoming parent-and-baby group designed for new parents looking to connect with other families while supporting their baby's communication development from the very beginning.

Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, each session incorporates songs, stories, sensory play, and interactive activities that promote early language, social connection, and parent-child bonding. Parents will also learn simple, evidence-based strategies to encourage communication during everyday routines, all while building friendships and sharing experiences with other caregivers in a supportive community.

Our 6 week series are designed based on your baby’s age:

Tuesdays: Tiny Buds (0-6 months)

Wednesdays: Growing Buds (6-12 months)

Thursdays:‍ ‍Busy Buds (12-24 months)

Classes are held in-person at our clinic location from 10:30- 11:30AM

AAC Together: A Parent Learning Series

Learn practical, evidence-based strategies to support your child's communication using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). This workshop will help parents and caregivers better understand AAC, model language effectively, and create meaningful communication opportunities in everyday life. Leave feeling more confident and empowered to support your child's communication journey.

Designed for parents with children using ALL kinds of AAC systems!

These may include:

  • iPads or dedicated communication devices with a communication app (Proloquo2Go, TD Snap, TouchChat…etc.)

  • Low tech/paper based systems such as Flip n' Talk, PECS, Core Boards…etc.

  • Switches for communication

  • Eye gaze systems (low and high tech)

This program is hybrid.

Parents learn the basics online first and then apply their knowledge with their child in person at our clinic location.

Language Sprouts

An 8 week, parent-led, early communication group designed for children (2.5 years and older) who are late to talk, minimally speaking, or not yet using words to communicate. Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, parents will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to support communication through play, daily routines, songs, and interactive activities.

Families will explore ways to encourage gestures, sounds, signs, AAC, and early words while building connection, confidence, and communication skills together.

Parents leave each session with practical tools to help their child's language flourish at home.

Classes are held in-person at our clinic location on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00pm
