Mommy & Me

Join us for a warm, play-based class designed to support early communication, connection, and confidence. Led by a Speech-Language Pathologist, this small-group session helps caregivers learn simple, practical strategies to support their child’s speech, language, and social development through everyday routines and play.

This class is ideal for toddlers and preschoolers who are developing early communication skills, as well as children who may benefit from extra language support in a fun, supportive environment.

AAC Parent Workshop

Learn practical, evidence-based strategies to support your child's communication using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). This workshop will help parents and caregivers better understand AAC, model language effectively, and create meaningful communication opportunities in everyday life. Leave feeling more confident and empowered to support your child's communication journey.

Designed for parents with children using ALL kinds of AAC systems!

These may include:

  • iPads or dedicated communication devices with a communication app (Proloquo2Go, TD Snap, TouchChat…etc.)

  • Low tech/paper based systems such as Flip n' Talk, PECS, Core Boards…etc.

  • Switches for communication

  • Eye gaze systems (low and high tech)
