WHAT WE OFFERPrograms
Summer Camp 2027
A small-group, communication-focused camp experience at TEAD Therapeutic Riding Centre for children ages 5-12. Led by SLPs and CDAs with a 1:4 staff-to-child ratio, campers work on speech, language, and social communication goals through unmounted horse activities including grooming, feeding, and leading. The camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM across four weeks: July 6-10, July 20-24, August 10-14, and August 24-28, 2026. Located at TEAD Therapeutic Riding Centre, 8360 Leeming Rd, Mount Hope, ON.
The Social Circle
A social communication program for children and teens who experience challenges with social interaction, conversation skills, and nonverbal communication. Participants work on initiating and maintaining conversations, interpreting social cues, building confidence in group settings, and developing self-regulation and advocacy skills. Sessions are individualized and may vary based on each participant's needs and goals.
Two groups are offered at our clinic (565 Sanatorium Rd, Unit 209, Hamilton, ON): Juniors (ages 5-12) on Saturdays, 1:00-2:00 PM, and Teens (ages 13-18) on Mondays, 7:00-8:00 PM
Chill and Chat Club
A 10-week group program for children ages 5-12 who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). In small groups of five, participants build communication skills through collaborative games, themed activities, and peer interaction, with each week focused on one core word. Participants learn to express wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings using their AAC system while receiving individualized support and guided modelling from an experienced clinician.
Sessions are held at our clinic (565 Sanatorium Rd, Unit 209, Hamilton, ON) on Thursdays, 6:00-7:00 PM.
