Our adult group programs are designed to support communication, cognitive-communication, and everyday life skills in a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment. Led by Speech-Language Pathologists or delivered by trained support personnel under SLP guidance, our programs focus on helping adults build confidence, strengthen communication, and participate more fully in their daily lives.
Adult Programs
Conversation Cafe
Come have a coffee or tea with us. Stay connected, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful conversation in a welcoming and supportive environment. Conversation Cafe is a relaxed weekly group designed for adults who want to maintain and strengthen their communication skills while connecting with others.
Ideal for older adults experiencing communication changes, this group provides opportunities to practice communication in real-life, engaging activities. Sessions may include discussions about current events, games, problem-solving activities, and functional conversation practice in a friendly, low-pressure setting.
Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, this group focuses on promoting communication, social participation, and confidence—because the best way to keep communication skills strong is to use them.
Everyday Connections
Designed for adults with acquired communication and cognitive challenges following stroke, brain injury, or other neurological conditions, this program helps participants bridge the gap between therapy and everyday life by practicing real-world communication and executive functioning skills in meaningful, functional contexts.
Build the confidence and skills to navigate everyday life. Participants will develop practical strategies for planning, organizing, problem-solving, managing attention, making decisions, and communicating effectively during everyday activities.
Launch into Adulthood
a supportive group program designed for young adults with autism, developmental disabilities, or other communication differences who are building the skills needed for greater independence at home, in the workplace, and in the community.
Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, this program focuses on developing the communication, executive functioning, and self-advocacy skills that support success in everyday life. Through interactive activities, real-world practice, and collaborative learning, participants build confidence while working toward their personal goals.
Whether preparing for employment, post-secondary education, volunteer opportunities, or greater independence in the community, this program helps young adults develop practical skills that can be applied beyond the clinic and into everyday life.
